This is Sarah. Sarah is the Director of Demand Generation here at Wave. She is big into basketball🏀 and a huge fan of theToronto Raptors 🏆. Sarah is currently looking for a Marketing Analyst and Copywriter to join the team. We recently sat down with Sarah to learn more about her and the role.
Can you describe your role for us?
At Wave, Demand Generation encompasses paid marketing, search engine optimization, content marketing, design and development. My role involves bringing these disciplines together to drive user acquisition and growth for Wave. We learn and share as a team in an effort to make us all better at our individual crafts.
What kind of worker are you looking for on your team?
We are looking for a driven, passionate and creative content marketer to join our team.
What makes Wave different from any other company you've worked for?
Wave has a kind culture filled with extremely intelligent (both IQ and EQ) humans. I am so grateful to work in a collaborative environment where there is a genuine desire to find meaningful solutions for our customers.
If you could switch positions with somebody else at Wave for a day, who would it be?
I would switch positions with someone on the engineering team so I could try to better understand our opportunities and challenges from a different lens.
Favorite vacation spot and why?
Hands down, Malta🇲🇹 is my favourite place to visit. Malta has everything I love: my extended family, great food, lots of sunshine and the best swimming. If you ever get the opportunity to travel to Malta, be sure to visit Golden Bay. It’s beautiful at any time of the year.
What is your favourite quote?
